cocoa or 2 squares bitter chocolate
2 Tbsp
butter
1/3 cup
flour
1 cup
sugar
¼ tsp
salt
2 ½
cups
scalded milk
3 eggs,
separated
1 tsp
vanilla
Baked
pie
shell
Mix
cocoa, flour, sugar and salt and add milk. Cook in
double boiler. Add some hot filling to yolks and put into rest of
filling. Cook
til thick, about 15 minutes. Stir constantly. Add vanilla and butter.
If using
chocolate squares, melt chocolate and butter in double boiler and add
other
ingredients. Put in pie shell. Make meringue and put on top. Put in
350º oven
12 to 15 minutes.
