Delight Pie

1 large
pkg Jello lemon pie filling
1 egg
½ cup
sugar
2¼ cups
water
1
envelope
Dream Whip dessert topping mix
½ cup
cold
milk
½ tsp
vanilla
2 Tbsp
sugar
Combine
pie filling, ½ cup sugar, and ¼ cup water in pan. Blend in egg, add
remaining
water. Bring to full boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Cool 5
minutes, stirring twice. Measure 1 cup filling, cover and cool
completely. Pour
rest of filling into baked pie shell. Prepare Dream Whip. Blend 11/3
cups Dream
Whip into cooled reserved filling. Spoon over pie. Cover pie with
remaining
Dream Whip. Can use Cool Whip instead of
Dream Whip.
