Pat’s Pecan Cookies

1 cup butter or oleo, softened
¼ cup sugar
pinch salt
pinch of baking powder
2 cups flour
1 cup chopped nuts

Mix first four ingredients well. Stir in flour and nuts. Make into 1-inch balls. Bake at 325° for 25 minutes. Let cool. Put powdered sugar in plastic bag and add cookies and shake to coat. Next day, shake in powdered sugar again.
