Peach Cake

3 Tbsp corn starch
½ cup sugar
3 Tbsp lemon juice
1 cup crushed peaches
1 cup boiling water
1 Tbsp butter
2 tsp grated lemon rind
pink food coloring
few grains salt
2 layer yellow cake

Combine sugar, salt and corn starch, add boiling water, stirring constantly til smooth. Cook over hot water til thick, add butter, lemon rind and juice. Mix thoroughly. Cool. Add peaches and coloring. Spread on a 2 layer yellow cake.
