lemon juice

crushed peaches

boiling water
1 Tbsp
butter
2 tsp
grated lemon rind

yellow cake
Combine sugar, salt and
corn starch, add boiling water,
stirring constantly til smooth. Cook over hot water til thick, add
butter,
lemon rind and juice. Mix thoroughly. Cool. Add peaches and coloring.
Spread on
a 2 layer yellow cake.
