Sour Cream Raisin Pie

1 Tbsp plus 1½ tsp cornstarch
1 ¼ cups sugar
¼ tsp salt
¾ tsp nutmeg
1½ cups sour cream
3 egg yolks
1½ cups raisins
3 Tbsp lemon juice
 
Mix cornstarch, sugar, salt and nutmeg in 2-quart saucepan. Stir in sour cream. Add egg yolks, raisins and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir 1 minute. Pour into pie shell, cover with Brown Sugar Meringue.
 
Brown Sugar Meringue
Beat 3 egg whites, ¼ tsp cream of tartar, 6 Tbsp brown sugar, packed, ½ tsp vanilla. Put on pie and brown in oven.
