Strawberry Pie

1 cup sugar

1½ Tbsp cornstarch
1¾ cup cold water
1 pkg strawberry Jello
1 tsp vanilla
pinch salt
1 box fresh strawberries

Mix sugar, salt and cornstarch. Add cold water and cook til clear. Add jello and vanilla, set aside to cool. Arrange strawberries in cool crust. Pour strawberry mixture over top. Refrigerate for 1 hour or til mixture sets up. Serve with whipped cream.
