Bring
to
boil in pan:
1 cup oleo
¼ cup
Crisco
4 Tbsp
cocoa
1 cup
water
Mix boiling mixture with
flour and sugar. Add ½ cups
buttermilk, 1 tsp soda, 1 tsp vanilla and 1 tsp cinnamon. Add 2 beaten
eggs.
Bake 20 minutes at 400° in a greased and
floured cookie
sheet.

before cake is done make this Icing:
1 cube
oleo
4 Tbsp
cocoa
1 box
powdered sugar
6 Tbsp
milk or cream
1 tsp
vanilla
½ cup
chopped nuts
Spread
on
cake while hot.
